About Ebi Otaku

I'm Ebi Otaku an ornamental shrimp keeper and breeder based in Japan. Ebi Otaku is my attempt to build the world-class, multilingual reference for ornamental shrimp that I always wished existed.

Why this site exists

The English-speaking, Japanese-speaking, German-speaking, and Mandarin-speaking shrimp communities have all built remarkable but isolated knowledge bases. Ebi Otaku tries to bridge them — same data, six languages, structured so you can compare a Caridina dennerli care sheet across linguistic communities and have the same numbers come up.
